VACATION, maybe? (part 2)

TUESDAY (March 19) we got up and headed to BYU (aka Cougarland) to go bowling. That is the one thing we do every time we go to Utah. The boys LOVE it! After we play games at the arcade and just have a great time. Then we head up to Cougar Eat and grab a BYU Creamery Cookies and Cream milk and head out.
Bowling was great fun! Even Bacon played this time, though not the entire time. He got bored pretty quickly and ran all over with 5 adults taking turns chasing after him! We all had a lot of fun and made some good memories!

After bowling we headed down to MOAB, UT to have a little more family fun, or did we? We checked into our hotel and the boys LOVED IT! It had 2 beds separated by a counter with a sink, small refrigerator, microwave, etc., so they felt like they had their own space. AND it had a large window seat, a pad of paper with a pen (Pach wrote and drew pictures on every piece for us) and about 100 drawers! Those got filled with all sorts of stuff.
WEDNESDAY we headed out, got our rented jeep, made lunches and went off roading! It was a long 1 mile! Bacon had decided to get sick Tuesday night. He was so hot and threw up a few times. He and I slept together and poor Tim, being the great dad and husband he is, slept perpendicular to Pach and Pickle at the bottom of their bed. :(  So by the morning and a dose of Tylenol later, Bacon seemed better so we continued with our vacation.
We went on a fairly tame loop and made it through. It was definitely more than I even liked! My stomach does not do well with ups and downs and really bouncy things which this was! Bacon, still not feeling 100%, fussed most of the time and poor Pach, he inherited my stomach so he wasn’t too happy. Pickle LOVED it though as did Tim. Guess he inherited Tim’s stomach (which is a good thing). Actually, Bacon would have loved it if he hadn’t been sick. So on the way back to dropping Pach, Bacon and myself at the hotel, we stopped at a park for lunch. There Pickle had so much fun playing he decided he’d rather play at the hotel than go back out with dad. So Tim ended up going out by himself for a few hours while I sat at the hotel with one sick-o and two super excited little boys. All in all it wasn’t too bad.

Dinner was very exciting. The boys LOVED the cowboy decorations all over the place, like the boot with flowers in it. And Pickle knocked over his cup of apple juice all over the floor. I look forward to the day when we go out to eat and nothing falls on the floor.

Pach ate all his food AND some of Bacon's.
There is a first for everything!
