Vai rolar a festa. Most of you probably don't know what that means. There is a Brasilian singer named Ivete Sangalo and she sings a song called "Festa" which means party. I really like the song so I used a line from it on my blog "vai rolar a festa". The line basically means let's get this party rolling or started. I think it's appropriate for our house because someone is always having a party here, usually it's just the boys but it's always hopping!
So pronunciation of said portuguese words, just for fun.
Vai : VI (long i sound)
Rolar : Ho lar
A : Ah
Festa : Festa (pretty much like it looks)
Ivete : E (long e) Vetch
Sangalo : San gall o
So that's that. I'm going to make dinner now. Dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets for Zach, cheeseburgers for the rest of us. All with fruit salad: peaches, rapsberries and strawberries. Should be yummy!
